Training Opportunities



Jul 2 – 10, 2019. France. A training course for people in age from 18 to 25 who are interested in civic activism or social business and want to solve different challenges in their communities, who would like to help to create new learning tools and who wish to become more confident, courageous and creative, boost their teamwork and leadership skills.


up next: Embodiment and Change

Sep 6 – 8, 2019. Latvia. Weekend conference ''Embodiment and Change'' will take place in Latvia and gather more than 50 non-formal learning facilitators, youth workers and teachers from all EU. During the event participants will have a chance to receive and explore different educational tools created within ''Embodied Change'' project and also to attend several embodied learning sessions where they could experience some of the embodied learning methods and learn basic principles of embodied learning and teaching.


PREvious training: exploring embodied learning

Apr 9 – 17, 2019. Italy. ''Exploring Embodied Learning'' was the first event within the ''Embodied Change'' project. It gathered 16 participants and
facilitators from Italy, France and Latvia to develop competences of the participants to use embodied learning approaches and methods in order to empower young people and foster their active participation, civic engagement, initiative and entrepreneurial attitudes and skills.


Rediscover the role of the body

Despite the crucial role of our body in every aspect of our lives, over the course of history we have overemphasized the mind - traditional Western education doesn’t tend to associate intelligence with our bodies.

Involvement of the body had been consistently excluded from the educational practice, the process of learning and the interaction among learners.
